Everyone goes through seasons of waiting. A lot of times, people just sit back and wait for God to do everything. But, you have to remember to do your part and make preparations. You have to talk like it’s going to happen and act like it’s going to happen.Some people might say, “Well, what if I do this and it doesn’t happen?” But I say what if you do and it does happen? And even if things don’t turn out the way you had hoped, you’d still be better off living your life positive and hopeful than you would to go around down and discouraged.

I love what David said in the Bible, “God, my times are in Your hands.” He was saying, “God, I don’t know when it’s going to happen, but I know You know what’s best for me.” I’m going to go out today expecting good things. And even if it doesn’t happen, I’m not going to go to bed all disappointed. I’m going to go to bed knowing that I’m one day closer to seeing my dreams and desires come to pass!

Victoria’s Secret Model Kylie Bisutti Quits Modeling and Turns to God; Launching Christian Clothing Line

Former Victoria’s Secret model Kylie Bisutti thought her dreams were coming true when she was signed by a top modeling agency. But shortly after joining the business, she realized that becoming a model was making her less of a role model. Unhappy with her life, she quit her career and turned to God.

 

“I was being paid to strip down and pose provocatively to titillate men. It wasn’t about modeling clothes anymore; I felt like a piece of meat,” Bisutti said during a recent interview while recalling her career as a Victoria’s Secret model.

 

After winning the “Angel Search” competition by Victoria’s Secret, Bisutti’s career as a model pushed forward at full speed. But instead of feeling like she was on top of the world, the 19-year-old newlywed did not feel right. After one particularly bad day, she fell to her knees in prayer. She told the New York Post:“God, why did you have me win the Victoria’s Secret Angel competition if it was going to make me feel this way? I’m not honoring my husband. I just want answers!”

 

A number of events would occur after that moment that would motivate Bisutti to quit her career as a model. One of those moments came when she realized that she was becoming a bad role model to other women.

 

“At the time, a Victoria’s Secret lingerie show was airing on TV, and I was looking at Twitter and saw loads of tweets from women comparing themselves to the impossible image of the models,” she told the Post. “It made me think back to earlier in my modeling career, when my 8-year-old cousin was watching me put on makeup and said to me, ‘I’m going to throw up my food so I look like you.’ I realized my career was sending a bad message to women about confidence and body image.”

 

The moment inspired her to go public about her renewed commitment to God.

“I quit being a VS model to be a Proverbs 31 wife,” she wrote in a tweet to the world.

Proverbs 31 states, “Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised.”

After that point, Bisutti was done with modeling, but that didn’t mean that the entertainment industry was done with her.

 

“After my infamous tweet, I turned down an offer to do “Dancing With the Stars” and an opportunity to act on a show on The CW because I didn’t think it was promoting the right message,” she said. “I didn’t want to dance with a man other than my husband on the reality show or shoot scenes in a bikini for The CW.”

While ending her career with Victoria’s Secret and turning down other offers may have cost her “millions of dollars,” Bisutti says that she has “never been more content” in her life.

 

Instead, she is working towards becoming a positive role model for young women.

“Today, I’m focused on creating a Christian clothing line, speaking tours and my blog, imnoangel.org. My clothing line comes out next month, and it will feature models of all shapes and sizes promoting our modest clothes,” she said. “I want girls to see people who look like them, so they feel good about themselves.”

Her book, I’m No Angel: From Victoria’s Secret Model to Role Model, will be released on May 14th.

Oh thanks, actually I also like that girl she is smart, fun and seems to be loving girl.  I planned to court her and even before you ask me to know  more about her, I already did my sort of simple research about that girl.  

But sad to say she is not the type of girl that I like.  I’m not mean and a  choosy guy but I have my own uhmmm should I say qualification / standard when it comes finding a right girl for me. I found out that she doesn’t have same faith as I have, for some it’s not a big deal but for it is a must.  

I explained this point to my workmate (actually 2 of my colleagues wants me to court these 2 diffirent girls, first girl is my workmate in which we are on the same department, second girl is in the other department.  Both of them is really a good looking girls as I must say.)

They got upset as I was explaining my point on why I am not that interested to those girls that they want me to court with. I know that they just want me to be happy seeing in a relationship because according to them I am a good guy, a God-fearing guy, a loving guy etc. etc. So they wanted me to be the boyfriend of their friends.  But I refused.

Sad part….

Both of my workmate said to me……. 

” I think you are gay”

” You are gay “

” Maybe you doesn’t like girls or you want the other one ahahahaha (they laugh)…..

” Don’t be choosy “

Are they insulting me. Am I affected? Do I need to get mad?

I am just a typical, normal, average, plain guy.  

At that moment I realized more clearly what I want in a girl.

A girl who is full of grace.

A girl who is crazy in love with Jesus.

A girl who wants more Jesus in her life.

A girl who’s attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus.

A girl whom I will treat like a princess because she’s the daughter of King Jesus.

A girl on which I can hold her hands while heading to a Church for a Sunday Services.

A girl that I can present to my Mom and Dad, saying that she is the girl that God wants me to spend the rest of my life.

God, make me a man after your heart and help me trust that you’re providing a woman who is after your heart, too. And while we’re both chasing after you, I pray we would bump into each other along this road, stop for a while to chat, and call the rest history.

I’ve heard it said that you can give without loving, but you can’t love without giving. Notice this verse tells us that love isn’t just about our words or thoughts, it’s about our actions. Love is about reaching out and meeting the needs of others. Sometimes meeting someone’s needs is as simple as a smile or sharing a word of encouragement. There are many ways to show the love of God. Can you pay for someone’s gas or groceries? Do you see a need in someone’s life that you can meet? Remember, you are the hands and feet of Jesus in the earth. The Lord wants to bless you today so that you can be a blessing to others. He wants to work through you to show His love and compassion.

Today and every day, look for ways to put your love into action. The Bible says that it’s His kindness that leads people to repentance. He wants to show His kindness in the earth through you. Step out and sow good seeds of love by meeting the needs of others. God promises that those seeds will produce an abundant harvest in your life in return!
